Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into acupuncture points found on the body in order to stimulate the body’s healing energy. This energy is known as “Qi” (pronounced Che) and flows through channels or meridians, throughout the body. Acupuncture is fast becoming recognised the world over as a safe and reliable form of treatment for many and varied conditions.
Acupuncture is usually combined with Moxibustion; TDP Lamp; Tuina Massage; and/or Cupping.
The following treatments can be treated with Acupuncture:
- Respiratory Disorders (inc. Chronic cough, common cold)
- Asthma/Allergies (Hay Fever)
- Skin Disorders (eczema)
- Arthritis (all types)
- Muscular Pain
- Repetitive Strain Injury
The first session will usually last between 60 and 90 minutes, with subsequent visits lasting between 45 and 60 minutes.
